Suominen has strengthened its organization for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality function and named Juan Carlos Esteve (Technical Industrial Engineering) as the global nanager of this newly consolidated function. Previously, Esteve acted as Global Continuous Improvement Manager for Suominen and was also responsible for the Quality and Assurance functions of Suominen’s Alicante plant in Spain. He will report to Larry Kinn, senior vice president, Operations Americas.

The timing of the appointment is aligned with Suominen’s launch of its Behavior Based Safety program, which both underscores the company’s commitment to safety in the workplace and also signals the transition to a proactive and predictive shift in the working culture, Kinn says.
